The acidity is strong and corrosive. Dissolves in water and decomposes in boiling water. Widely used as a drying agent for paints, surface treatment of fibers and paper, waterproofing agent for building materials, catalyst, engineering ceramics, etc.

STORAGE: Store zirconium acetate airtight in a cool, dry, sheltered area. Avoid strong oxidizing agents.

Ingestion: Give water (if a patient is conscious). Seek medical attention.

Eyes: Flush with running water.

Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse with water and soap.
