What’s the application of Guanidine carbonate?

It can be used as a precipitant in the weight determination of zinc, cadmium, and manganese, and also used in the separation of magnesium in alkali metals and organic synthesis. Used in organic synthesis, it can make antioxidants, resin stabilizers, pH adjusters of amino resin, etc. It is the raw material of organic synthesis and analytical reagent. It is used as a pH adjuster, antioxidant, resin stabilizer and guanidine soap of amino resin, etc. It is also used as an additive of cement thin slurry agent and surfactant. In the synthetic detergent, the use of moisture-resistant agents and synergists. In zinc, cadmium, manganese weight determination, used as a precipitant, also used in the separation of magnesium in alkali metals.

Production method: Dicyandiamide and ammonium salt at 170-230 ℃ melt reaction to produce guanidine salt (guanidine hydrochloride, guanidine nitrate). Then the guanidine salt made of alcohol solution, add alkali neutralization to make guanidine free out, absorb carbon dioxide reaction is to obtain guanidine carbonate.
