Uses o-chlorobenzoic acid is the intermediate of fungicide fluorobenzopyrimidinol, insecticide mirex, bolluronium and acaricide tetrachlorazin.

 

It is used as an intermediate of dyestuff, pesticide and medicine, used in the manufacture of chlorpromazine, anti-inflammatory agent and other drugs, used as a preservative of Chemicalbook adhesive and paint and raw material of organic synthesis, also used in dyestuff and color film. It can also be used as a fungicide. O-chlorobenzoic acid is the standard reagent of alkaline and iodine method.

 

Use as a dye intermediate and preservative for glue and paint, also used in the manufacture of fungicides and pharmaceuticals and other uses as the main raw material for anti-rheumatic drugs; also used in dyes and color films.
