CAS 15098-87-0 Usage
Mainly used for aluminum smelting. It can be prepared by the action of aluminum trichloride, hydrofluoric acid and ammonia water. Aluminum fluoride is mainly used in aluminum production to reduce the melting point and improve the conductivity of the electrolyte. Used as an inhibitor of secondary fermentation in the production of Chemicalbook alcohol. It is also used as flux and glaze component of ceramic glaze and enamel glaze. It can also be used as a flux for smelting non-ferrous metals.
